Some of Our Projects
Since the vision of Northwest Clean Community Alliance seeks to address circumstances and conditions that lead to community deterioration and decreased quality of life, we identify opportunities and situations to partner with other area stakeholders. Here are some projects in which we have been involved.
Park Cleanup Project
NWCCA college student volunteers worked to clean up the Redemption Community Park in NW Harris County. Over six large bags of trash and debris was collected in phase one of this clean up and restoration project.
Traffic Light Project
NWCCA worked with Harris County Precinct 1 to install a traffic light at a busy intersection in NW Harris County. Previous to this installation, this busy intersection only had in place "No U-Turn" signs.
Certificate Recognition
Presented Certificates of Recognition for community clean up and recycling efforts to Spring Westfield High School and former Houston City Councilman Jerry Davis.
